The story revolves around Sam the ant and his friends' adventures in a garden. His friends are Peng the bee, Uli the worm, Pupu the butterfly, Patpat the grasshopper, Atun the dragonfly, Eli the firefly, Polka the ladybird, Epit the bug and Anduk the horn bug. They encounter challenges and adventures in their own little world. They have to face the bad guys in the form of dangerous insects lead by Nyaki the spider. Nyaki's gang consists of Moski the mosquito, Furli the fly and Matori the cockroach.

Their obsession is to devour Sam and his friends and subsequently, control the garden. Sam and his friends must also be aware of Nyaki's friends; Kamkam the mantis and Pion the scorpion plus the ever-lurking monsters of Kadok the bullfrog and Largit the snake. With their wit and cooperation, Sam and his friends continue to survive through all the obstacles and constant attempts by their enemies.
